Inelastic buckling and sidesway of concrete frames
Long concrete column as part of portal and box frames is considered; theoretical analysis for simple frames based on moment curvature relationship is presented and programmed into Fortran IV language; results calculated by theoretical analysis are compared with available test results of box frames; reduction factors for long columns for given portal frames as calculated by theoretical analysis are then compared with those calculated by formulas of ACI-63 Building Code.
