Experimental investigation of bending of annular reinforced concrete elements
Results in testing of centrifuged pipes show that actual bearing capacity is higher than designed value, rapid loading is insignificant, concrete grade is of greater importance, and increase of reinforcement is also important; pipes tested were designed to be used in mine drifts.
