Electrically heated formwork
Panels consist of two layers of 1/4-in. Douglas fir ply with heater elements embedded between 8 ft by 2 ft panels; operating at 110 v, a-c single phase with center tapping to give safe 55 v earth potential, heating is achieved at 25 w/sq ft over entire panel area; this prevents temperature of placed concrete dropping below 40 F; intention is to combine heated panel -- laminated plywood "sandwich" incorporating electric heating element -- with standard Concrete Formwork frames.
