Punching strength of reinforced concrete slabs
It is shown that effect of concrete strength on punching resistance is of same order of magnitude as it is on flexural strength and can be expressed by factor 1-q/2 used in analysis of ultimate flexural strength of reinforced concrete members; theory is substantiated by test data; method is directly applicable to design of column region of flat slabs and suitable charts are provided.
