Influence of high temperature curing in early ages on strength of concrete
Investigation to study relationship between compressive strength of concrete at early and later ages and various curing conditions such as curing temperatures, time of beginning and duration of high temperature curing at early ages; concrete used in test had gravel/sand ratio of 1.66 by weight, weight of cement of 550 kg/cu m concrete, water-cement ratio of 0.33 and compressive strength of 512 kg/sq cm at 28 days under curing; cylindrical specimens were of 15 cm diam and 30 cm long; test results are shown in table and compared with values of compressive strength of standard cured concrete.
