Creep, shrinkage and loss of prestressing in carbonate concrete
Creep of concrete with dense and porous carbonate aggregates is same as usual concrete of similar strength; creep increases up to 20% with highly powdered carbonate aggregates; shrinkage is 30 to 50% higher than usual concrete of similar strength; total loss of prestressing due to creep and shrinkage exceeds insignificantly values for usual concrete; formulas are given for finding loss of prestressing.
