It is shown that structure in horizontal plane under action of wind load behaves as internally indeterminate ring being supported by shear stresses along its perimeter; A.Roshko pressure diagram is used for calculation of wind pressure distribution; values of bending moments and axial forces are evaluated and tabulated for various reference points along shell in terms of mean radius and wind pressure respectively, relating to height under consideration.
