Influence of insulation of walls, ceilings, floors, etc, on heat requirement and heating costs in residential buildings is discussed on grounds of 100 sq m model; effect of heat insulation on thermal conditions in various rooms is examined; recommendations regarding rational use of heat insulation to economically ensure comfortable thermal conditions in buildings.
