Possibilities of design of facings which can be considered during prefabrication, are reviewed with respect to discussions at international congress held in London in 1966; processes using wash concrete, chip-covered faces, structured faces of exposed concrete and exposed concrete impregnated with coloring material are described with regard to their applicability according to East German technical standards.
