Matrix-energy method for analyzing reinforced concrete Vierendeel bridge trusses
Method accounts for all forces due to bending, and axial and shear stresses, and is presented in generalized modular submatrix for any panel under gravity loads; its repetitive application enables complete formulation for solution of continuous, freely supported, and cantilever Vierendeel trusses; method is adapted to programmed electronic computation; numerical solutions are exemplified.
