Analysis of curved bridge slabs is presented; deflected form is expressed as Fourier series in spanwise direction, coefficients being functions of radial direction only; by expressing loads as corresponding series, concentrated loads may be incorporated in solution as discontinuity in shear force along load line; theoretical values of deflections and moments are compared with results from tests on model structures.
