Experimental investigation of partial prestressing of flexed reinforced concrete beams
Experimental study of variations of bending moments at first appearance of cracks, and variations of failure moments, depending on percentage of prestressed tendons (from 0% to 100%); effect of position of tendons with respect to beam core, and grade of steel used for nonstressed reinforcement (mild steel or hard steel); results shown in diagrams. Before Colloquy on Partially Prestressed Concrete, Brussels, Oct 1965.
