Flexural behavior of prestressed, partially prestressed, and reinforced concrete beams
Beams of same size and virtually same ultimate capacity were loaded to failure; deflections and strain were measured during storage period of approximately 4 mo; loads, deflections, strains, and maximum crack widths were measured during testing; wide range of behavior of reinforced concrete (limits of which are represented by fully prestressed and conventionally reinforced concrete) that may be obtained by varying prestressing force is illustrated.
