Studies on color tone of anodized films on Al-Mn-Mg alloys
Anodizing after precipitation heat treatment at 400 C produced black film; film was uniformly gray when alloys were heat treated at 500 C; color tone was changed to brown by addition of Si or Fe but Mg made no change; color streaks often evident on anodized films were prevented by Mg addition. (In Japanese with English abstract)
