Land use plan for Houston's intercontinental airport
Basic premise of land use development program is that any enterprise that can use this service to good advantage and to sufficient degree should be permitted to obtain designated space on airport site; investigations conducted, including contacts with 25 major airports in country, show that present and future requirements for land are functions of growth of airline support operations, positive action by industry toward physical relocation at airport industrial parks, and provisions by airport management of physical facilities needed for industrial or other uses, reasonable lease rates, and assurance that environmental standards will be maintained.
