Temperature-humidity chart for thermal comfort of seated persons
Facilities, procedure and results of experiments conducted to re-evaluate conditions for thermal comfort as affected by mean radiant temperature and relative humidity; experimental program was carried out in Kansas State University-ASHRAE Environmental Test Chamber; subjects were exposed to thermal condition in groups of 10 subjects each; exposure period was 3 hr; wall surface temperatures were maintained equal to air temperatures; air velocities in test chamber were less than 45 fpm in occupied zone.
