Model tests on aerodynamical phenomena of high speed train entering tunnel
Tests to analyze effect of shape of train head on pressure rises in tunnel, effect of profile of tunnel entrance on pressure rises, effect of branch tunnels which are attached to main one for purpose of releasing pressure rises in main tunnel and pressure rise for case when 2 trains pass each other in double-track tunnel; brass tube 5860 mm in length and 28 mm diam ID was used as tunnel model.
