Computer program is used to design structural steel components of Type 2 power plants; floor framing geometry is specified and program designs minimum cost set of members, retains all floor design data and uses it to design columns; member loadings are evaluated by program from specified floor geometry; deflections are evaluated for beams and girders of various steel types.
