Hyperbolic stress-strain response; cohesive soils
Response of cohesive soils tested in consolidated undrained triaxial compression is represented by 2-constant hyperbolic stress strain formulas; variables contained in hyperbolic stress strain relation include preconsolidation pressure, rebound stress, lateral pressure during test, vertical normal stress, strain, and rate of strain; history effects are included in terms of overconsolidation ratio.
