Five classes of hydraulic profiles associated with uniform flow of liquid in open channel, expressible in terms of first, second and third kind of integrals are discussed; profile equation for each class is given explicitly in terms of these integrals; practical method of computing backwater integrals; integral of second kind is reduced to simple algebraic function and those of first and third kinds are expressed in terms of polynomials of moderate order and polylogarithm functions of low order.
