Plastic buckling pressure for spherical shells
Derivation of solution for plastic axisymmetric buckling of thin walled spheres under hydrostatic pressure; plasticity reduction factor, by which elastic buckling pressure is multiplied to obtain plastic buckling pressure, is derived in terms of tangent and secant moduli and new concepts of tangent and secant plastic Poisson's ratio; procedure for obtaining buckling curve from which plastic buckling curve can be determined rapidly.
