Study on rationalization of structural design and on reduction of deadweight in structures is described; subjects include partial prestressing method of design, design against earthquakes, properties of rigid frame composed of reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete, creep and shrinkage in bridges and possibility of using pumice for prestressed concrete.
