Ultimate load of H-columns under biaxial bending
Analytical procedure for determination of ultimate carrying capacity of columns loaded eccentrically with respect to their principal axes; procedure is restricted to columns of wide flange section made of elastic-perfectly plastic material without residual thermal strains and can be extended to apply to columns of other cross-sectional shapes and to those containing residual thermal strains; effect of warping strains resulting from nonuniform torque to which such columns are subjected.
