Rope anchorage floor lift control
Rope anchorage to control floor and strata movement in and around pit-bottom area has been designed; high-tensile ropes are anchored by cement grout in small diameter boreholes in sound strata below weak floor, and given initial high-tensile stress or load by application of special hydraulic tensioning jack; this load is locked in rope by special anchorage or grip at floor surface; system can be used where it is difficult to use floor bolts; rope of any length may be used.
