Analysis of composite beam bridges by orthotropic plate theory
Mathematical method is presented for analysis of composite beam bridges by more exact theory of composite orthotropic plates; approach leads to more accurate appraisel of beam moments; computational techniques used in analysis are applicable to other similar problems and are especially adaptable for use in electronic computers; numerical examples are given and results are compared with those based on approximate theory.
