Analysis of master plan for Chicago O'Hare airport
Mathematical models derived to determine practical capacity of airport were used to determine capacity and efficiency of various runway configurations; air routes into and out of airport were examined to determine which runway configurations require excess flying; taxi time between terminals and runways and excess flying time were converted into aircraft operating costs.
