Self-supporting aerial cables along high-voltage line
Cable installation for telephony, telemetering and remote control erected in Central Germany along 100-kv overhead transmission line 4. 25 mi long; greater part of route passes through woods and fields, but end of line crosses waterways, roadway and sloping ground in three spans, and for this section, self-supporting aerial cable was proposed because of length of span and its greater reliability.
