Northern Pacific builds turntables 135 ft long
Three structures of continuous type, installed in last 2 yr, are believed to be longest ever constructed; turntable at Livingston, Mont, remodeled by installing new pair of girders 135 ft long; 85-ft turntables at Pasco, Wash, and Parkwater, replaced with new turntables 135 ft long having 2 girders of uniform section supported at center by cross girders.
