Bridge of unusual type, crosses arm of Lake Washington to carry highway from Seattle; feature of interest is telescoping draw or movable span; bridge consists of series of 22 rectangular pontoons; instead of floating independently, most of pontoons are connected by heavy bolts and shear locks to form rigid boxlike structure.
