Method is intended to supplement present requirement for capping concrete cylinders specified in Section 6 of Standard Method of Securing Specimens of Hardened Concrete from Structure (C 42-27) of American Society for Testing Materials; proposed method conforms with tentative revision of Standard Methods of Making and Storing Specimens of Concrete in Field (C 31-27).
