Tentative methods of test for absorption and apparent specific gravity of natural building stone
Methods of test are intended for determination of absorption by weight or by volume, and for apparent specific gravity of natural building stones used for exterior or interior construction; calculation of dry weight of stone in pounds per cu. ft. may also be made from results of apparent specific gravity test. (See also Am. Soc. Testing Matls. -- Tentative Standards 1930 pp. 516-517) (of mtg., June 23-27, 1930)
