Bridge structure is approximately 7400 ft. long between terminal abutments and beyond abutments includes two terminals each roughly equivalent to city block in area; distance traveled from entrance to exit is approximately 9000 ft.; main span is of wire cable, suspension type, with unloaded back-stays 1850 ft. center to center of piers; roadway is 47 ft. wide; there is single 8-ft. sidewalk along west side.
