International contest for designs for a railroad bridge over arsta bay near Stockholm
Plans call for a movable bridge, 600 m. long, opening to a width of 24 m. for passage of high-masted ships, with superstructure of iron or concrete, or both. Details and illustrations of the three prize-winning designs and of the four designs bought by the railroad administration are given. See also article by H.
