Reconditioning Champigny tunnel on Bobigny-Sucy line
Tunnel repair work after removal of all ballast consisted in demolition of existing bed, trenching and drainage, and construction of bed 0.80 m thick set on concrete forms overlaid with waterproof plastic material; space between walls and surrounding ground was filled in and tunnel masonry reconditioned and waterproofed by injection; water from sections still damp after treatment was channeled off; railroad tunnel is on line that is linking up main marshalling yards in Paris, France area.
