Travel characteristics of persons living in larger cities
Analysis and interpretation of information obtained by Census Bureau for U S Bureau of Public Roads on travel patterns of about 1300 households located in cities of 100,000 population or over; home-to-work travel patterns of workers residing in these households are analyzed with special emphasis on relationship between mode, choice and distance from home to nearest public transportation to work and family income; automobile trips are included.
