Open competition for new indoor swimming pool in Siegburg (West Germany)
Three prize-winning designs were selected from 52 entries; terms of reference called for were 12.5×25 m swimming pool and 7.80× 16.66 m learners' pool, as well as restaurant partitioned off by glass wall, and all necessary ancillary buildings; first prize was given for design promising best functional operation, second prize for best integration of indoor and existing open air facilities; plant economy and number of service personnel are stated.
