Torsion buckling of thin-walled profiles; it is assumed that profile cross-section remains unchanged during deformation, and slip strains in median plane are neglected; shear center coordinates, as well as inertia and static moments acting in arbitrary cross-section are determined; differential equations of torsion buckling are solved for particular loading and boundary conditions for some symmetric and rolled profiles; theory is extended to continuous beams, frames, and lattice girders.
