Strength of single-story steel frames
Strength of single-story, pinned-base rigid steel frames subjected to vertical and horizontal loads is developed; interaction curves between axial load and horizontal load are developed for column with ratio of beam length to radius of gyration equal to 40; inelastic behavior and residual stresses are considered; simple plastic analysis is performed on deflected structure and effect of variation of column slenderness ratios is evaluated.
