Effect of heat treatment methods on mechanical properties of concrete reinforcing bars
It was demonstrated that heat treatment of bars in course of rolling on continuous mills, and also special heating, can considerably improve mechanical properties of bars; optimum method is quenching bars in water with subsequent tempering.
