A study of sheathing papers
Data to be used in formulation of standard specifications for sheathing paper are given; important properties of 36 samples of building papers made by 14 different manufacturers, consisting of asphalt-saturated, paraffin-saturated, laminated and asphalt-treated, and machine-finished papers; papers were tested for weight, thickness, tensile breaking strength, bursting strength, tearing resistance, water resistance, and air permeability. (see also Structural Engr., vol. 7, no. 9, Sept. 1929, p. 345)
