Report on expedition to highlands of Kashmir to make hydraulic study of conditions on Shyok River, tributary to Indus River, where glacier formed natural dam causing considerable storage in valley upstream; water broke through this natural dam and caused flood wave in river below; spread of flood wave, traveling with velocity up to 17.6 per sec.
