Researches carried out by North American Cement Co, New York, found reason for deterioration of cement floors especially in dairies; acids in end products of carbohydrate, fat, protein, and mineral metabolism solubilize cement constituents; stages of masonry disintegration illustrated; germicides built into cement particle prevented microbiological growth.
