Prospecting for gravel deposits by resistivity methods
Resistivity method of exploration as used in study reported, offers rapid and inexpensive means of locating and delineating gravel deposits that are underlain by clay; in work described where 6000 cu yd of material was obtained, necessary field work was completed by one enginer and two inexperienced helpers in about 8 hr; with usual field party of two engineers and two experienced helpers faster rate is possible; limitations of method.
