A practical experiment in bituminized earth road construction
A 500-ft. section of a heavily travelled road near Edmonton, Alberta, was treated successfully with asphalt extracted from bituminous sand. No gross defects have appeared under traffic. (See also Eng. and Contracting (Roads and Streets), vol. 62, no. 4, Oct. 1, 1924, pp. 731-734, 2 figs)
