Minimum cover for buried flexible conduits
It is shown how from model studies it is possible to predict minimum soil cover required to protect buried conduits over which wheel load passes; similitude is achieved by drawing fluid (air) down through model soil; results are reported for flexible (light weight metal and plastic) conduits buried in sand.
