Quality control and testing of concrete pipes in Netherlands
Investigation conducted to study watertightness, particularly in connection with corrosion by aggressive liquids, bearing capacity of circular concrete pipes, especially with regard to pipes of 80 to 150 cm diam, and corrosion of rubber sealing rings, with emphasis on problem of organic attack; requirements and testing procedures adopted for styrene-butadiene rubber rings are outlined.
