Inertial platforms in photogrammetric mapping
Inertial platform was used in photogrammetric mapping to give direction of vertical at moment of exposure in addition to horizontal position of camera; conclusions subject to limitations of mathematical model used in study are derived; gravity anomalies have secondary effect on accuracy of inertially determined direction of vertical, and is found to be approximately equal to total angle of deflection.
