Method to describe soil temperature variation
Values for thermal diffusivity, temperature and temperature amplitude determined from observed data; constants were used in equation to describe variation of temperature with time at any soil depth for both Lexington, Ky and Ottawa, Ont; calculated temperatures and mean observed soil and air temperatures plotted for comparison.
