Facilities, now under construction, consist of Chester-Octoraro Dam, which will impound 2.5 billion gal of water, 18 mgd filter plant and pumping station, 38 mi of 42 in. force main and 39-, 36- and 30-in. gravity transmission lines, covered reservoirs with total capacity of 5 million gal, and storage reservoirs with total capacity of 20 million gal.
