Visual aids caused no appreciable increase in cost; decline in accident frequency rate from 8.37 in 1945 to 5.23 in 1949 is attributed largely to increased interest in safety developed through use of visual aids at monthly safety meetings; accident severity rate reduced from 1.74 in 1945 to 0.185 in 1949.
